CMEBLIND

No photos up front

A dating app without photos, until you both say yes

Most dating apps ask for your best photos before they ask a single thing about you. That puts looks at the front of every decision. It also leaves a lot of people out: anyone who would rather not put their face on a public profile, anyone whose job or family makes that awkward, and anyone who is simply tired of being judged in a second.

CMEBLIND is a new dating, friendship and social app built the other way around. It is coming soon, and you can join the waitlist now for early access.

How it works without photos

  1. Pick a mask. Your profile shows a mask, avatar or veil instead of your face. You can make it yours with color, feathers, gems, lace and patterns, including masks inspired by cultures and heritage from around the world.
  2. Match on personality. There is no swiping through faces. You answer real questions and get matched on how you think, what you value and how you talk.
  3. Talk while masked. Chat and voice happen behind your masks, at your own pace.
  4. Reveal together. Your photos stay private until both of you agree. A reveal is never one-sided. If one person isn’t ready, nothing is shown.

No photos doesn’t mean “anyone could be anyone”

Hiding your face from matches is different from hiding who you are. CMEBLIND is being built with photo verification: a live selfie plus a random pose. The check is there to confirm a real person is behind each mask, while your face stays private from the people you are talking to.

Who it’s for

Why lead with personality?

When the first thing you see is a face, the conversation often never gets a chance. When the first thing you see is how someone answers a question, you learn whether you laugh at the same things, want the same future and talk in a way that feels easy. By the time you reveal, you already know whether you want to.

FAQ

Is there a dating app where you don't show photos?

CMEBLIND is a new app, coming soon, where your profile shows a mask or avatar instead of your face. Your photos are revealed only when you and your match both agree. It isn't live yet, so join the waitlist for early access.

Do I still need to give the app a photo?

CMEBLIND is being built with photo verification, a live selfie plus a random pose, so there is a real person behind every mask. That photo isn't shown to your matches unless you both choose to reveal.

What if I'm not ready to reveal?

Then you don't. A reveal happens only when both people say yes, so you can stay masked and keep talking for as long as you like.

When can I start using CMEBLIND?

The app isn't live yet. Join the waitlist and we'll email you before launch so you can get in early.
